When we learned that she was as thrilled about MakerBots as we are about her work, we seized the opportunity to work with her, inviting her to dream up a poster that images a unique context for using a MakerBot 3D printer.

"The Replicator Issue #1: Rise of the MakerBots" by Micah Ganske (poster) Originally created as a vinyl sign for the MakerBot booth at CES 2012 by artist and MakerBot Operator Micah Ganske, crowds loved this poster so much that we used the image for our massive wild posting campaigns in New York, Seattle, and San Francisco early in 2012. (The intrepid adventurer in these towns can still locate walls wheat-pasted with these posters today!) We asked Micah to imagine the perfect cover art to an imaginary comic book featuring R.Maker, The Replicator, and the spirit of DIY 3D printing -- and he delivered with such conviction that we dream of someday creating this book. We are happy to finally include a limited quantity of these in the MakerBot Store.
