MK5 / MK6 Drive Gear Upgrade Kit
This is a new stainless steel machined pulley for the MK4 thru MK6+ extruder. It is more robust and provides a significant (100%) increase in push strength for the filament drive of the MK4 Plastruder! This means more reliable extrusion, better feeding, and less stripping of the plastic filament when printing.
Now made of machined stainless steel (304), instead of aluminum, the pulley will last significantly longer, and give users of the MK4 Plastruder a much improved extrusion experience!
The MK5 Drive Gear also comes with a new spacer rod, specially sized, so you can reset your idler wheel and plastruder so you achieve maximum push! The newly redesigned, smaller teeth grab and push the filament better than ever.

The MK5 Drive Gear is fully swappable with the MK 4 Extruder Pulley that comes with all CupCake CNC's and Plastruder MK4 kits. Just open up your extruder, remove the MK4 Extruder pulley, drop on the MK5 Drive Gear, set the idler wheel, and you're back in (even better) business!
