This is the state of the art build surface that we love to use here at MakerBot for our own 3D printing. It is made from lasercut acrylic and has a number of awesome features that make it nice to use:
* Laser etched 2.5mm grid. This gives a nice surface for the plastic to adhere to.
* The build surface is reusable - we've printed hundreds of items on a single build surface and still going strong.
* Its fluorescent red acrylic. It looks awesome.
* It is 100mm x 100mm x ~3mm
